2-4-07 New St.- All Hand Dwelling (Story and Photos by Edan Davis)

Around 10am on Feb.4, 2007 Bridgeton fire (sta.7) and ems (sq.79) were dispatched to New st. for a dwelling reported working. Quint 7-05 arrived on location with heavy fire and smoke showing. This brought fire companies from Hopewell, Gouldtown, Cedarville, and Upper Deerfield ems. During the blaze all fire fighters were requested to evaquate the building and resume a defensive attack. This put Bridgeton's tower and cedarville's quint in service. The fire was brought under control in about an hour and a half.
