1-5-08  FRANKLINVILLE  423 Fries Mill Rd. - All Hands Dwelling

A dwelling fire was reported in Franklinville Township at 423 Fries Mill Rd. shortly before 3 a.m.Chief 43101 arrived and reported a 2 story dwelling with heavy fire through the roof.  Unit arrived and began exterior attack.The All Hands was  transmitted as special calls were made for additional tankers.  Command reported the dwelling to be heavily involved.  Command reported around the 30 minute mark the bulk of the fire was knocked down as crews were entering the structure for interior attack.  The fire was placed under control shortly after.  No injuries were reported on the fire ground.  The house was under renovations at the time of the fire and was vacant.
