4-26-09 327 Evesham Ave- All Hands Building

 

A building fire was dispatched in Lawnside at 327 Evesham Ave at 2 A.M.   Lawnside Command arrived and reported heavy fire showing striking the all hands.  Companies arrived and went in operation with a Ladder Pipe.  Companies secured a water supply and went in operation with multiple 2 ˝” hand lines.  The fire spread from the BBQ area, which collapsed in to the vacant attached building.  Companies also reported a brush fire at Division D.  Companies gained access to the vacant structure and knocked down the fire from the interior.   The fire was brought under control with no injuries reported on the fire ground.

 

   

 

 

 



7-19-08 White Horse Pike- Charleston-  PD M.V.A

   



8-26-06 White Horse - Charlston Ave - M.V.A with entrapment

 Lawnside Fire units, BLS and ALS were dispatched for a report of an M.V.A with people trapped at the White Horse Pike and Charleston at 1000 hours.First arriving units found a 2 car accident with 2 victims trapped.  An additional ALS and BLS were called to the scene.  Units went in service with the tools to extricate both victims by removing the doors.  Both victims were extricated around the 25 minute mark. Both patients were in serious condition and both transported to the Trauma Center at Cooper Hospital.  The Lawnside Police are investigating the cause of the crash. 

   

   



7/6/06 112 S. Warrick Rd.  2nd Alarm Dwelling

Units were dispatched in Lawnside for a dwelling fire at 112 S. Warrick Rd.  County Radio advised units they recieved a call from a Paco (train) Police Officer reporting a working fire.  ALS and BLS were added for a report of possible people trapped.  Command arrived and reported a 2 story dwelling with heavy fire showing from the A - B corner.  First due Engine dropped line into the job and went in service with an 1 3/4 handline.  Crews encountered heavy fire conditions as more lines were being stretched.  The 2nd alarm was sounded well into the job bringing in additional manpower.  Searches were performed with negative results.  No injuries were reported.  The cause of the blaze is under investigation by the Camden County Fire Marshals.

   

 



2-22-06  131 Watkins Ave - All Hands Dwelling Fire

Units were dispatched for a report of a dwelling fire. Command arrived to find a 1-story with heavy fire from the A and D sides of the dwelling. The all hands was struck. Crews stretched a 1.75-inch handline (and a backup) to control the blaze. The occupant was home at the time of the fire and reported it to be a bedroom fire.
