Overturend M.V.A w/ Hazmat Spill - Rt. 130 - Rt. 322 Onramp

Logan fire crews were dispatched for a report of a commercial MVA at the on-ramp from 322 to Route 130 (northbound) around noon. Crews arrived to find that a tractor-and-trailer carrying hazardous materials had overturned. EMS crews arrived and tended to the victim. Command reported that a total of 27,000 lbs. of material was inside the vehicle when it rolled over. Gloucester County HazMat, as well as Cherry Hill and Gloucester City were requested to the scene. ALS and BLS units set up rehab for the dozens of firefighters operating on-scene. Several busses were also requested to the scene for firefighters to get out of the heat. Route 130 was shut down in both directions for an extended amount of time.
