12-18-09 437 S. Church St. - 2nd Alarm Dwelling

At 10:26 a.M.  dwelling fire was dispatched. Burlington County Communications received multiple calls for a house fire as it was located directly next to a major highway. Moorestown Chief, 3100, arrived and reported a 2 story multiple family dwelling with heavy fire and smoke showing.  All companies were placed in service. Crews arrived and placed multiple hand lines in operation.  Command struck a 2nd alarm. The highway was closed as water supply lines were placed.  The fire was placed under control around 45 minutes.  No injuries were reported on the fire ground.  Several pets were removed from the dwelling.  The highway being closed caused major delays in the area as it was located near a mall.  The Burlington County Fire Marshals Office has the fire under investigation.

 

   

 

 



6-22-07 276 W. 3rd Ave - 2nd Alarm Dwelling

 

At Noon, Moorestown companies were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire at 276 W. 3rd Ave. Command arrived and reported a 2 ½ story single family dwelling with heavy smoke showing.  Engine 3121 arrived and went in operation with a 1 ¾ “ hand line and reported heavy fire conditions in the dwelling.  At the 10 minute mark into the job, Command struck the 2nd alarm bringing in additional man power as well as requesting an additional RIT.  At the 30 minute mark the bulk of the fire was knocked down and was placed under control.No injuries were reported on the fireground.
