12-6-07 White Horse Pike- School Bus vs. Building

At 10 am on December 6, 2007, Stratford units were dispatched for a M.V.A on the White Horse Pike and New Road in the shopping center. Companies arrived to find an occupied school bus into a support column of a store.  The bus was occupied by 30 students from Camden County schools traveling to the Goodwill Industries which gives job training to handicapped and disabled high school students.  Multiple ambulances were called in to transport students who sustained minor injuries.  The Rescue Company from Cherry Hill was called along with several other rescues to shore the building as the bus knocked off the support column.  The bus driver stated he was making a turn near the building when he lost control on the ice.
