9-14-09 33 Edgemont Lane- All Hands Dwelling
At 7:40 p.m. a dwelling fire was reported in Willingboro at 33 Edgemont Lane. The resident called 911 and reported her kitchen was on fire. Command 1600 arrived and reported a 1 story single family dwelling with heavy fire showing. Engine 1632 arrived on location and stretched a 1 ¾” hand line and placed it in operation. The 2nd due Engine Company secured a water supply as the Ladder Company opened up. Searches were negative as all occupants were accounted for. The fire was placed under control with no reported injuries. The Willingboro Fire Department and Burlington County Fire Marshals Office has the fire under investigation.

1-19-09 60 Maplewick Lane- Fatal Dwelling (murder/arson arrest made)
At 9:26 A.M. a phone call was received by 911 reporting smoke in the air in the area of Mayapple Lane in Willingboro. A BLS unit arrived at 60 Maplewick Lane reporting heavy fire from a single family dwelling. Engine Company 1613 arrived and reported heavy fire from Division A of a 1 story single family dwelling placing Task Force 16 in service. The Engine Company went into operation with a 1 ¾” hand line to knock the main body of fire down. Crews battled the blaze for approx ½ hour before the blaze was declared under control. The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office reported a body was found inside the dwelling. It was to badly burner to be identified until the autopsy. Once the autopsy was performed it was discovered the body had been bound and stabbed multiple times in the head, neck and torso sometime later Friday night or early Saturday morning. Police arrested the 48 year old who lived there and charged him with murder and arson for killing his 70 year old mother. He is being held on a $750,000 bail and would not give a motive for the murder. The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and Fire Marshals Office still have the incident under investigation. 2-12-08 WILLINGBORO 24 Hadley Ln - 2nd Alarm Dwelling
At Noon, Willingboro units were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire at 24 Hadley Lane. Command arrived and reported a 2 ½ story dwelling with heavy smoke and fire showing. The 2nd Alarm was sounded. Crews found heavy fire conditions from Division C and heavy heavy smoke throughout. An interior attack was conducted for a short time before command hit the evacuation tones and set up master streams. One homeowner was transported to the hospital with smoke inhalation. No firefighter injuries were reported.

7-26-06 44 Pinafore - 2nd Alarm Dwelling
Willingboro units were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire. Police arrived and found heavy fire showing with the occupants fleeing the dwelling. Command arrived and reported a 2 story dwelling with heavy fire throughout. Engine 1613 arrived and went in service with 2 1 3/4 handlines. The 2nd alarm was sounded shortly in to the job setting up tower ladder operations. All occupants were accounted for. The house was a total loss.
